About PixelPDF

PixelPDF brings common PDF and document tasks into a set of focused tools, with instructions and limits shown alongside each workflow.

What the site is for

The site helps people prepare, convert, arrange, edit, and protect documents without having to find a separate utility for every routine task. The collection contains exactly 40 tools, organized in the tool directory.

The tools cover image and office-document conversion, PDF page operations, basic visual editing, passwords, signatures, and watermarks. Each page describes the task and links to related workflows.

How file processing works

For implemented tools, files are sent to the site's conversion endpoint and processed by server-side worker threads. Uploads are written to temporary per-request directories rather than to a user document library. The Privacy Policy explains the cleanup behavior and its limits.

Processing depends on the source file and the task. For example, extracting text from a PDF is different from reconstructing the original page design, and compressing a PDF cannot always make it smaller.

Usability and honest limitations

Tool instructions are intended to help people choose a workflow and understand its constraints before relying on an output. The site does not claim that every conversion preserves the source layout or that visual covering securely redacts PDF content.

The interface uses responsive layouts, labelled controls, keyboard focus styles, semantic page structure, and reduced-motion CSS. Those implementation choices are not a formal accessibility audit or a claim of legal compliance.
