Supported file formats
Accepted formats depend on the tool. Check the upload label and limits on the individual tool page before selecting a file.
Image formats
The image-to-PDF workflows accept JPEG/JPG, PNG, WEBP, and supported HEIC/HEIF images. HEIC/HEIF decoding depends on the source variant. PDF editing also accepts JPEG and PNG images for placement.
PDF inputs and outputs
PDF files are used by page conversion, organization, editing, password, signing, watermark, and repair workflows. PDF-to-image can return JPG, PNG, or WEBP pages. Multi-page image output is delivered as a ZIP archive.
Word documents
Word to PDF accepts OOXML .docx files. PDF to Word produces a .docx from selectable text; it does not perform OCR or recreate the PDF page design.
Spreadsheets
Excel to PDF accepts OOXML .xlsx workbooks. PDF to Excel attempts to recognize likely tables from positioned PDF text and returns a spreadsheet; complex layouts and scanned pages may not produce a useful table.
Presentations
PowerPoint to PDF accepts OOXML .pptx presentation files. PDF to PowerPoint turns each page into a slide so you can keep editing in a deck. Conversion uses the document contents to create a PDF and may reflow compared with a desktop presentation application's print output.
Web and HTML
HTML to PDF accepts local .html or .htm markup up to 5 MB. This workflow does not fetch remote URLs or execute scripts; remote assets may therefore be unavailable in the output.
Not sure which tool to choose?
A filename extension alone does not prove that a file is valid or supported. The processor checks the actual file content, and individual tools may add page, size, or feature limits.
