What the tools can do
PixelPDF's features are task-focused. The available operations and their constraints are described here without promising that every PDF or conversion will behave identically.
Convert documents and images
Create PDFs from JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC/HEIF images, supported Office files, and local HTML. Render PDF pages to JPG, PNG, or WEBP, extract selectable text to Word, or detect likely tables for Excel.
Organize and adjust pages
Merge PDFs, extract or split selected pages, reorder and duplicate pages, remove pages, insert pages from another PDF, rotate pages, crop visible page bounds, flatten supported form fields, and attempt recovery of readable damaged documents.
Edit, sign, and watermark
Add text or images to selected PDF pages, draw a visual signature for placement across pages, add a typed signature, and add or remove supported text watermarks. Watermark removal applies to matching PDF text; image-based or flattened watermarks are not supported.
Password workflows
Protect or add a password to an output PDF, and open or remove protection when the user has the required credentials and authorization. The tools do not guess or crack unknown passwords.
Browser-friendly design and constraints
The pages use responsive layouts and native HTML controls, with server-side processing for implemented file operations. No browser extension or software installation is required by the application.
Upload limits, PDF structure, scan quality, processing time, and the capabilities of the source format can affect results. The site does not claim complete mobile-device compatibility for every large file or every browser.
