Convert images into one PDF

Image to PDF places each supported image on its own PDF page. It is useful when photos, screenshots, or scans need to be shared or stored together as one document. This is useful when you need to collect related photos, scanned pages, receipts, or screenshots in a single document for sharing, printing, or keeping together.

Supported image formats and limits

The converter accepts JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC/HEIF, and AVIF images when the uploaded file can be decoded. BMP, GIF, and TIFF are not supported by this workflow.

  • Select up to 20 images in one conversion.
  • Each image may contain up to 30 megapixels; the combined input limit is 100 megapixels.
  • The upload-size limit is displayed beside the file picker and can vary with the site configuration.

How to convert JPG or PNG images to PDF

  1. Select supported images

Choose up to 20 JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC/HEIF, or AVIF files, within the displayed upload and image-dimension limits.

  2. Arrange the pages

Use the earlier and later controls in the selected-file list to put each image in the sequence readers should follow.

  3. Create the PDF

Start the conversion. Each image becomes a page, scaled proportionally to fit with a margin; page orientation follows the image shape.

  4. Download and review

Save the PDF and check its page order, image appearance, and file size before sharing or submitting it.

Why put images in a PDF?

A PDF can keep a set of images together as one file instead of a group of separate attachments. For example, you might organize receipts for a record, collect screenshots for a report, or combine scan images into a document. Always check the receiving service's file type and size requirements before uploading.

Page layout and image quality

Each image becomes one PDF page. The page is portrait or landscape according to the image's shape. The image is centered and scaled proportionally to fit within a 30-point margin, so it is not stretched to fill the page. Paper size, page orientation, and margins cannot be changed in this tool.

PNG files are embedded as PNG, including transparency. Other accepted image formats are converted to JPEG for the PDF, which can affect fine detail. There is no quality slider; use a clear source image and inspect small text in the downloaded document.

Preparing a smaller image PDF

This converter does not promise a particular output size, including 100 KB. The result depends on the dimensions, content, and number of source images. If a portal enforces a strict limit, reduce or optimize the images before conversion and check the finished PDF's actual size.

PixelPDF's Compress PDF tool rewrites PDF structure but does not downsample or re-encode embedded images. It may therefore have little effect on a PDF whose size mainly comes from pictures.

Privacy and offline options

Image conversion runs on the server, not solely in your browser. The application attempts to remove temporary job files when processing ends, but cleanup is best-effort and does not guarantee how a hosting provider handles backups or infrastructure data. If your images are sensitive, consider using an offline application you trust. Read the Privacy Policy before uploading.

Common problems and fixes

  • An image is rejected: check that it is a valid JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC/HEIF, or AVIF file. Changing a filename extension does not convert the image.
  • Pages are in the wrong order: use the earlier and later buttons in the selected-file list before converting.
  • An image exceeds a limit: reduce its dimensions or select fewer images to stay within the per-image, combined-pixel, and upload-size limits.
  • The PDF is too large: optimize the source images and check the result against the destination's actual size requirement.
  • Text looks blurry: start with a clearer, higher-resolution image and inspect the PDF at the size it will be viewed or printed.

To render pages from an existing PDF as images, use PDF to JPG.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert several images into one PDF?

Yes. Select up to 20 supported images. Each selected image becomes a separate page, and you can change their order before conversion.

Can I convert an image to PDF on my phone?

The page uses a responsive layout and your device's browser file picker. File selection and saving the result depend on your phone and browser.

Can this tool guarantee a PDF under 100 KB?

No. There is no target-size control or guarantee. The output depends on the images you upload; resize or optimize them before conversion if you have a strict limit, then check the downloaded file.

Will the image fill the page?

The image is centered and scaled proportionally within the page margins. Page orientation follows the image shape. You cannot select a paper size or customize margins in this tool.

Does Image to PDF reduce image quality?

PNG is embedded as PNG. Other accepted formats are normalized to JPEG, so some image detail may change. There is no quality setting; review the output, especially if it contains small text.

Are my images processed in the browser?

No. The files are uploaded to the server for conversion. The application attempts to remove temporary job files after processing, but this is best-effort and does not establish hosting or backup retention. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Before you share the PDF

Check the page sequence, image clarity, and final file size. Keep the original images until you have confirmed that the PDF meets the requirements of the person or service receiving it.
