How to Convert PNG Images to PDF
PNG is useful for screenshots and line art because it preserves sharp edges. Converting a group of PNG files into PDF pages makes the set easier to share as one document.
When this is useful
Use this workflow for screenshots, forms, diagrams, or scan images that should appear in a predictable sequence. It does not recognize text embedded in the image.
Steps
Check that each PNG is complete and that transparent areas will be legible against the PDF page.
Open PNG to PDF and select the images, up to the tool's 20-file limit.
Arrange the selected files in reading order before processing.
Download and inspect the PDF at normal viewing size to ensure labels remain readable.
Important considerations
- PNG screenshots can be large, especially at high resolution. Image pixel and upload limits apply.
- Text inside a screenshot remains part of the image; it is not selectable PDF text.
If something goes wrong
If the output is unexpectedly large, resize oversized screenshots before conversion. If a transparent graphic is hard to read, place it on a suitable background before exporting the PNG.
