How to Rotate PDF Pages
Rotation can correct pages scanned sideways or a document exported with inconsistent orientation. Check whether the problem affects every page or only a few before choosing a scope.
When this is useful
Use all-pages rotation for a consistently misoriented document; use page numbers or ranges when only selected pages need adjustment.
Steps
Open the PDF and record which pages need rotation.
Choose Rotate PDF, upload the file, and select 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
Choose all pages or enter only the affected pages and ranges.
Download the new file and inspect the affected pages as well as neighboring pages.
Important considerations
- The operation adds the chosen angle to the page's existing rotation. A page that starts at a different angle can therefore need a different setting.
- The operation supports PDFs up to 50 pages and changes page orientation, not the page's content layout.
If something goes wrong
If a page turns the wrong way, retry from the untouched original with the opposite quarter-turn. Avoid applying successive rotations to the same already-rotated output.
